Refeeding After a 7 Day Water Fast.
Today is Day 8 of my fast and I made a decision to start eating in the afternoon. I was feeling fabulous in the morning and like I could on for another couple of days, but I am going to be on the move again and it's essential to start re-feeding gentle.
- Step 1. Water + 1 teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar to activate the digestive system. Then you have to wait for about an hour or so.
- Step 2. Repopulate your gut with healthy bacteria. You could use kimchi, kombucha or sauerkraut for this. You can pair it with an avocado because healthy fat is also very good at this stage.
Wow! Such intense flavours! I feel full just after eating a little bit. It feels like I lost the habit of eating. Totally satisfied after one spoonful.
I waited for about 2 hours to start with step 3.
- Step 3. Leafy veg or carrots, but not raw - steamed or boiled. I chose broccoli and baby carrots. So tasty! Never thought that I would enjoy eating broccoli so much!

I think I've done a good job this time! And 7 days just flew by - only day 6 was really hard:)
