Masculine energy is about what you put out into the world.
Feminine energy is about what you receive from the experience.

The masculine is the creative energy, and the feminine is the magic. What we are putting into the space we take up is the feminine, but the space we choose to take up is the masculine. How much we choose to show up, the form, and the role, are all aspects of masculine energy.

The feeling that we cannot take up space confidently comes from our masculine energy. How we show up once we decide to take up space—how we bring our presence—is our feminine energy: our magic, our essence. It is what breathes life into the form. Searching for definition (purpose, identity) reflects masculine energy imbalance, while searching for fulfillment (passion, a certain feeling) shows an imbalance in feminine energy.

In many ways, the feminine is like the breath within the body; it brings life to a space. It is the heart, the passion infused into a creation, which is formed by the mind (or our masculine power).

I see a blank space where the masculine comes as the outline of a coloring page, and the feminine being any colors, glitter, floofs, cloths—whatever you can imagine— to use to take up this space and create the full picture.

Creative vision and boundaries are part of masculine energy, shaping what something can become.
This is the masculine's superpower.

The feminine energy fills this structure up with creativity, freedom, and flow—anything goes within this space! Knowing the space we take up in the world and having the support, safety, and confidence to claim that space is our masculine energy.

Our feminine is the creativity to show up in that space however the heck we want—EXPRESSION! That’s where the flow is!

Think of a river, which follows the borders and is held in place by the earth, changing form over time, teeming with life and ecosystems. The feminine is like that—flowing and full of life. But a river cannot flow without the guidance of the earth, just as the feminine needs the masculine structure to channel that flow. For example, a lake enclosed cannot flow, but the river ends in the ocean, the Source of it's being. This supportive structure, this natural path, is the masculine energy that holds space for all these ecosystems and creations to come to life, to thrive.
