Manifesting through the Lens of Astrology

MY HORIZON EXPANDS!

"I didn't know exactly how we would wind up connecting, but that was my intent - to surround myself with people like this."

Recognizing at what you manifest with your intentions is one of the best things this life has to offer. Noticing, "I DID THAT & I LIKE IT!" is all it takes to get the momentum rolling. I can't wait to uncover what all is in store for me through this, plus what a fun experience along the way:)

Gung-ho is my modus operandi.

Diving into Astrology for the first time is daunting to say the least.

However, I love challenges, and when the astrology bug bit me I was eager. As usual, my initial burst of energy eventually waned. It's not realistic to to sustain the highest level of interest all the time with no breaks, but that's my nature. Gung ho and ka-put, my two drives. Thank you to my Ashwini moon. Bring it on anyway, I have energy right now.

And so, I dove in, and pretty much didn't take a break for a solid eighteen months.

Then, I needed a break. At 24 months I got a glimpse of what it is to 'feel' astrology - how to intuitively read charts, and what they really mean. I don't mean I finally started 'reading' charts - I mean I looked at charts and FELT what they meant. I could paint an image that represented the chart using colors to express the intricacies of the human it represented. I didn't need to do that, feeling it was enough for me.

Astrology for me, had become a 3D, human language that helps us to map someone's energies - mapping the energies we can all sense intuitively, but putting it into language for more easily communicable expression. My goal initially was to understand it, to resolve for myself - either it's really just hogwash, or its some seriously amazing legit stuff. The latter won, and at 24 months in I realized if I couldn't see something in someone's chart, it was because I didn't know how to read it, not because it wasn't right there in front of my face.

Its legit. It's amazing and only limited by those who read the charts - and their multilayered human skills.

What I found most interesting as my intensity softened and as soon as I caught my breath after recouping my energy after those first 2 years, my deep seated interest was still there. Seven years later and I’m just as interested as I was the day I started. I'm not as hyper. I have learned to quite my assessment of the signs in any real-time situation (although they still occur in my internal dialogue). I’ve relaxed a little in the understanding of it all. I’ve opened up to a more balanced approach to both astrology, and to life's waves. My more mature approach involves more planning, clarity of mind and luckily a lot more interaction with others who are also interested in astrology.

Beyond mere excitement, my intentions create

And thus, today I write to share some more astrology nerd joy. Yesterday I personally interviewed my first veteran astrologer, April Elliott Kent from Big Sky Astrology.

Like most people who essentially feel like they have to remain in hiding about their love of learning astrology, I had quietly made various connections via social media with other astrologers and astrology groups. Somewhere along the way I stopped for a moment to read a post about some complex topic in astrology, and her post stood out among the sea of social media posts.

Beautifully written, easy to understand ways of explaining complex relationships in the web of astrology.  Wow, so well said! Who is this?! I'm a sucker for beautiful writing, and I'm not ashamed to admit that.

Add to that eye-catching, bold, cute, old, new, almost adorable images that don't apologize for being what they are - she had me hooked. Yes, please & thank you!

I commented and couldn't contain my delight. She replied and we eventually connected. I didn't know exactly how we would wind up connecting, but that was my intent - to surround myself with people like this. People who speak the language of astrology in a way that makes it tangible, comprehensible and expresses the beauty I see that I have difficulty putting into words.

Manifesting my heart's desire

Just like all of you, I too am working on myself to create the life I want. I am trying to stay more conscious of my intentions - seeding them, nurturing them and staying the course as things come about in my life. From the moment that spark of delight, amazement and pure stimulation began when I watched my first Modern Cosmic Astrology video in early 2016 - I knew this was something with which I wanted to be involved, heavily. It's taken me quite a while, but I'm here. I can see my ideas manifesting in the concrete world and I'm excited!  Who better to start my first public interaction with, than April!?!

Just like humans, pets also trap emotions. Releasing these energies can significantly reduce physical and behavioral issues.
